As an ERS retiree, survivor or an eligible dependent, you may be eligible to enroll in the HealthSelect℠ Medicare Advantage Plan, a preferred provider organization. Learn more about benefits, enrollment, and accessing care from your doctor.
The contract between UnitedHealthcare and Texas Tech has ended. As of April 1, 2026, Texas Tech is not part of the HealthSelect Medicare Advantage Plan provider network. The plan covers care from any Medicare-approved provider that is willing to see you. That means you can continue to see Medicare-approved Texas Tech providers at the same level of coverage.
We are continuing to negotiate with Texas Tech. We know the care you get from them is important, and we are working hard to keep them in the network.
