Is it fraud or abuse?
It can be hard to know if the health care documents you receive are accurate and correct. If you receive information that isn’t what you expected or doesn’t make sense to you, it might seem like fraud or abuse. However, it might also be an error. You’ll get answers more quickly by calling the number on the back of your member ID card and talking to a member services representative.

- Contact the UnitedHealthcare Fraud Hotline number at 1-844-359-7736 and say that you would like to make a report
- Call the number on your ID card
- Call toll-free <1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227)>. TTY, call toll-free 1-877-486-2048, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
