My name is Valerie Sussek. I live in Colfax, California. Love the people, love the pace of life. I love painting. It’s peaceful, it’s individual. I think it’s therapeutic for me. I love tai chi. I do it three days a week, which is great. I feel more centered doing tai chi. I sometimes feel more relaxed, and then I feel like I’m doing something physical.

It’s just like my old insurance, actually. I have always been able to see any doctor that I needed or anybody that I wanted to go to with this plan. Never been denied anything. I would tell AT&T retirees to go for the plan because of the fact it covers the majority of your needs, especially as a senior and especially as we get older, things change. My favorite part about AT&T Medicare Advantage plan is HouseCalls.

So with today’s visit, is there anything specific you would like to ask or a concern that you might have?

HouseCalls I love, for the simple fact is you have time to discuss what things are going on with you, period. What happened was I found out I had esophageal problems and I don’t like taking meds, but the nurse practitioner told me, “You really need to because they can heal it, even if you take them for a short time.” I was telling her about my feet swelling and stuff. They sent me to a vascular doctor, which I had no idea I needed to go and neither did my primary care. I like my primary doctor, it’s just they have so much time to devote to you. Most people, they go and they forget half the aches and pains that they have. I think it would be good for everyone to be able to have HouseCalls. I really do. I just feel very protected and cared for. I really do. I’m very happy with the plan. This plan helps me live my healthiest life.

You will need a confirmation code to activate your gym membership. Once you’re a member, you can sign in to your plan website, look for My Coverage and select Access gym code. Or you can call the number on your UnitedHealthcare member ID card to ask for a code.
