Enrollment in the UnitedHealthcare Group Medicare Advantage (PPO) or the Senior Supplement with Vision and Hearing, Plus Prescription Drug Plan, sponsored by the Connecticut Teachers’ Retirement Board, during the enrollment period which was from October 9 – November 17, 2023.

Changing your coverage

You can change your coverage election each year during Open Enrollment, which takes place during the Medicare open enrollment election period. Coverage is effective the following January 1.

You may cancel your coverage any time. However, if you do, you cannot reenroll for two years. To cancel coverage, you must submit a cancellation form, available on the TRB website or by contacting the TRB to have a copy mailed to you. You must submit the cancellation form by the 25th of the month before the month you want coverage to be cancelled.
