Enrollment Information

You'll be automatically enrolled in the plan

As of January 1, 2027, this plan will replace the Humana Group Medicare Advantage PPO plan offered through the Board of Pensions. If you’re enrolled in Humana, you’ll be automatically enrolled in this plan effective January 1, 2027. If you don’t want to be enrolled in this, please call Benistar Admin. Services at 1-800-236-4782 by December 7, 2026. The Board of Pensions has engaged Benistar to manage plan enrollment. They will notify us that you don’t want to enroll in this plan.

Note that enrollment in this plan includes enrollment in Express Scripts Medicare (PDP), replacing the Humana Group Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) as your prescription drug coverage effective January 1, 2027.

If you opt out of this plan, you won’t be able to enroll in it later unless the Board holds an open enrollment period. Your current coverage under Humana will end on December 31, 2026. You’ll need to get other health and drug coverage and pay the full cost.
