Renew Active® by UnitedHealthcare is the gold standard in Medicare fitness programs for body and mind. It's available to you at no additional cost and includes:
- A free gym membership at a fitness location you select from a nationwide network, including many premium gyms. Visit UHCRenewActive.com to find a fitness location near you.
- Thousands of on-demand workout videos and live streaming fitness classes.
- Social activities at local health and wellness classes, clubs and events.
- Access to the online Fitbit® Community for Renew Active. No Fitbit device is needed.
- An online program offering content about brain health, with exclusive content for Renew Active members, from AARP® Staying Sharp®.
You will need a confirmation code to activate your gym membership. Once you’re a member, you can sign in to your plan website, look for My Coverage and select Access gym code. Or you can call the number on your UnitedHealthcare member ID card to ask for a code.
The Renew Active® Program varies by plan/area and may not be available on all plans. Participation in the Renew Active program is voluntary. Consult your doctor prior to beginning an exercise program or making changes to your lifestyle or health care routine. Renew Active includes standard fitness membership and other offerings. Fitness membership equipment, classes, personalized fitness plans, caregiver access and events may vary by location. Our post-discharge meal delivery program provides home-delivered meals when referred by an Engagement Specialist, after you have been discharged from an inpatient hospital stay or skilled nursing facility, at no additional cost.

This transportation program can help you get to your health care appointments — at no extra cost to you.
- Unlimited rides up to 30 days following your inpatient stay at a hospital or skilled nursing facility when referred by a UnitedHealthcare Engagement Specialist
- Transportation provided to and from approved locations and must be medically-related such as doctors’ appointments and pharmacy trips
- Transportation cannot be used for emergency-related situations.
You are eligible for non-medical personal care through our national provider CareLinx. This may include grocery shopping, meal preparation, transportation, personal care, medication reminders and more.

UnitedHealthcare Global Assistance is a service that provides travel and medical assistance to Medicare members while they're away from home. If you're outside your country or over 100 miles away from your home, this service is available to you 24 hours a day at no additional cost.
