Legacy American Airlines pre-11/1/2012 retirees 

American Airlines will continue to offer  the Standard Option and Plus Option. There is no action you need to take should you wish to remain in your current option. You have the option to choose the Plus option during the Annual Enrollment period of November 12 – 26, 2024 at 11:50 p.m. CT.

To enroll in the Plus Option or to opt out of coverage, visit American’s Benefits Service Center via retirees.aa.com between November 12 and 26, 2024 (by 11:50 p.m. CT). If you are unable to enroll or opt out of coverage online, please call 888-860-6178.  Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT. 

If you decline the coverage, you and your eligible dependents will not be able to enroll in the plan at a later date.
